UAA Athlete of the Week

Erica Jackey (Washington University):
Washington University senior Erica Jackey broke the school record and captured second place in the 1,500-meter run at the Saint Louis University Invitational on Saturday. Jackey ran the fastest time in NCAA Division III this season with her 4:27.73 finish and surpassed the school record by .37 of a second. She added a second-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:12.34, the sixth-fastest time on the Division III qualifying list.

Jasmine Williams (Washington University):
Sophomore Jasmine Williams of Washington University cleared a career-best height of 1.67 meters to finish second in the high jump at the Saint Louis University Invitational. Her mark ties for second place in school history and is 11th on the 2012 NCAA Division III outdoor qualifying list. Williams also registered a season-best leap of 5.16 meters in the long jump to finish fifth at the meet.
