Gregg Martino (New York University):
New York University junior Gregg Martino won three of his four bouts as NYU split its four matches at the John Reese Duals at Wilkes University on Saturday. Competing at 141 pounds, Martino posted winning decisions against his opponents from Wilkes (7-3), King’s College (2-0), and York College (6-3). His only loss came to Mount St. Joseph College. Martino’s performance helped NYU defeat York by a score of 30-8 and Mt. St. Joseph 30-15.
Other Outstanding Athletes
Clay Criss (Case) defeated his opponent from Baldwin-Wallace College 9-2, in the 184-pound weight class.
