UAA Athlete of the Week

Nicholas Alaniva (Washington University):
Washington University freshman Nicholas Alaniva won the pole vault and finished second in the long jump at the Saint Louis University Invitational. He cleared 4.20 meters to win the pole vault title, and recorded a season-best mark of 6.36 meters to place second in the long jump. Alaniva also competed in the 100-meter run, 200-meter run, and the 400-meter relay for the Bears at the meet.

Tyler Jackson (Washington University):

Senior Tyler Jackson of Washington University clocked a season-best time of 14.39 to finish third in the 110-meter hurdles at the Saint Louis University Invitational. He placed third behind an unattached runner and a runner from NCAA Division I Saint Louis University. Jackson’s time ranks third on the Division III outdoor qualifying list this season.
