Offense

Breanah Bourque  —  Emory University  —  Houston, TX (Clear Lake)

Emory University senior middle hitter Breanah Bourque averaged 5.11 kills and hit .470 as the Eagles posted a 5-0 record last week with a pair of wins over top-25 teams. She was named Most Valuable Player at the Juniata College Wid Guisler Invitational, averaging a team-high 5.09 kills and 0.82 blocks per set. Bourque totaled 16 kills and four blocks in the Eagles’ win over 21st-ranked Juniata and followed that with 18 kills and a .630 hitting percentage (18-1-27) against 23rd-ranked Eastern University.

Caroline Brander  —  University of Chicago  —  River Forest, IL (Trinity)

Senior middle blocker Caroline Brander posted a .460 hitting percentage while averaging 2.32 kills per set to lead the University of Chicago to a 3-1 finish at the Elmhurst College Invitational. She hit .500 with 13 kills and added four digs in a win over Wheaton College, and hit .471 with eight kills and no errors in 17 total attacks against University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Defense

Taylor Erwin  —  Emory University  —  Woodlands, TX (Woodlands College Park)

First-year libero Taylor Erwin of Emory University averaged 4.65 digs per set to help the Eagles to a 5-0 record, including an undefeated mark at the Juniata College Wid Guisler Invitational. She earned All-Tournament honors and recorded 14 kills in the Eagles’ win over the 21st-ranked hosts.

Offense

Drew Hargrave  —  Washington University  —  Pacific Palisades, CA (Brentwood)

Washington University senior outside hitter Drew Hargrave led the top-ranked Bears with 56 kills in 15 sets at the second UAA Round Robin hosted by Carnegie Mellon University. She recorded 19 kills against 12th-ranked University of Chicago and finished the weekend with 20 kills and four blocks in the Bears’ five-set victory over sixth-ranked Emory University. She hit .259 in the four matches and topped the 20-kill mark for the fourth time this season with her output against the Eagles.=

Defense

Kelly Pang  —  Washington University  —  Honolulu, HI (Iolani School)

Senior libero Kelly Pang smashed her own single-match Washington University record with 47 digs in a five-set loss to 12th-ranked University of Chicago. She also broke her previous mark with 37 digs in the Bears’ five-set victory over Emory University. Pang averaged 7.47 digs per set, adding six assists and four aces, and her 47-dig effort tied her for the second most digs in a match in Division III this season.

Drew Hargrave  —  Washington University  —  Pacific Palisades, CA (Brentwood)

Washington University senior outside hitter Drew Hargrave registerd a .400 hitting percentage and averaged 4.0 kills per set to lead the Bears to five wins last week. She recorded a team-best 21 kills in a win at Webster University on Wednesday, marking her third match of 20-plus kills this season. Hargrave hit .600 with 13 kills against Monmouth College.

Defense

Rachel Gulasey  —  Case Western Reserve University  —  Cleveland, OH (Magnificat)

Senior libero Rachel Gulasey of Case Western Reserve University earned all-tournament honors at the Blue Devil Invitational hosted by State University of New York at Fredonia. She tied a season-high with 30 digs in a five-set Spartan loss to University at Buffalo The State University of New York and finished the weekend averaging 4.81 digs per set.
