UAA Athlete of the Week

MMEsther Erb (Case): The senior earned All-America accolades for the second consecutive year at the 2007 NCAA Division III Women’s Cross Country Championships in Northfield, MN, leading the Spartans to their best-ever finish with a sixth-place performance in the 32-team field.  Erb posted a 27th-place finish in the field of 280 runners, completing the 6,000-meter race in a time of 22:02.

MMTricia Frisella (Washington): The senior Tricia Frisella ran to an 18th-place finish in a field of 280 competitors at the 2007 NCAA Division III Women’s Cross Country Championships in Northfield, MN, helping the Bears match their best showing in NCAA competition with a third-place finish.  Frisella garnered All-America honors for the second time in her career, completing the 6,000-meter race in a time of 21:49.
