NYU junior Brandon Jones captured the NCAA Division III East Region Wrestling Championship 133-pound title and qualified for the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships. He continued his unbeaten season with three victories, posting 8-3 and 7-2 wins in his first two bouts. Jones pulled out a 3-1 sudden victory in the title match to move to 14-0 this season.
Other Outstanding Performances
Patrick Sheehan (NYU) qualified for the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships, placing second at 184 pounds at the East Region Championships.
