UAA Athlete of the Week

Jaimie McFarlin (Washington University):
Senior Jaimie McFarlin of Washington University was named to the 2009 NCAA Division III Championship All-Tournament Team as she led the Bears to a second-place finish at the Final Four on Saturday. She tied her season-high with 15 rebounds in a 65-49 win over Amherst College in the semifinal, and scored eight points during a 15-2 scoring run late in the second half as the Bears nearly erased a 14-point deficit against third-ranked George Fox University in the national championship game. McFarlin averaged eight points and 10.5 rebounds in the two games, shooting 53.3 percent (8-of-15) from the field.
