UAA Athlete of the Week

James Hallwood 
Washington University 
Rockville Centre, NY (South Side)

Washington University junior James Hallwood finished second in the 200 meters in a school-record time of 21.41 seconds at the Redbird Invitational in Normal, IL. His time broke the 26-year-old record of 21.50 and ranks him ninth in NCAA Division III this season. Hallwood also ran on the 400-meter relay that set a school record with a time of 41.71 seconds and ranks 20th in Division III.

Mohamed Sidique 
Brandeis University 
Harlem, NY (St. Raymond’s School)

Brandeis University junior Mohamed Sidique earned All-New England honors with a second-place finish in the triple jump at the New England Division III Track & Field Championships at Springfield College. His lifetime-best leap of 14.57 meters ranks ninth in NCAA Division III this season.
