Shane Miller (Emory University):
Emory University senior Shane Miller helped the 16th-ranked Eagles to a third-place finish out of 16 teams at the Oglethorpe/Royal Lakes Fall Invitational. He opened the event with a career-low round of 67 before posting a 73 to finish with a one-over-par 143, good for a sixth-place tie in the 87-player field. Emory concluded the Invitational with a team score of 582.
Other Outstanding Athletes
Aaron Cusato (Brandeis) earned All-New England honors at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships. The sophomore shot five-over-par 149 to finish 18th at the match.
