Junior Johnathan Chen of Emory University finished in eighth place in the 90-player field at the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational with a four-over-par 217 (73-74-70) over three rounds. His final-round 70 represented his low score of the season for the 13th-ranked Eagles. Chen concluded the fall portion of the schedule with a team-best 73.8 strokes per round average.
Other Outstanding Performances
Kavian Bina (NYU) shot a personal-best two-round 149 to finish second in a 35-player field at the Hudson National Fall Classic. His two-day total bettered his previous best by five strokes.
